What can you expect from OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro
There were speculations if both these phones will be supporting wireless charging, but considering how long it takes and how inefficient it was compared to wired charging, the company will not include the option on their initial release. The CEO of OnePlus Pete Lau confirmed it by stating,
“OnePlus charging is one of the best, – Wireless charging is far inferior.”
He also showed his enthusiasm by tweeting,
“Excited to share the next product from OnePlus will unleash a new era of Fast and Smooth. Especially Smooth! Smooth is more challenging than Fast – a true test of hardware and software.”
“The new product is just beautiful – I can’t wait for you to see it!”
There was no confirmation however if the company will include wireless charging to their devices in the future. Unless overheating is taken care of, the company just might consider it for their next models of mobile devices.
